My father, Brian Redgwick, started installing central heating systems in the late 1960s, I later joined him and now have the pleasure of running the company with my Wife Lynn and our two sons, Scott and Adam, who run the sales and project management areas of the business from our office and warehouse in the heart of West Yorkshire here in Dewsbury.

So for over 40 years three generations of Redgwicks have looked after Yorkshires warmth. But it's not just great family values that set us apart as our aim is to always go the extra mile we strive to help our customers achieve their ideals, and do so with the highest possible level of professionalism and care.

If a client needs a regular domestic central heating system then we will spend time finding out what they need, where they need to be most comfortable, what rooms need to be warmer than others, and being fully qualified installation engineers we will be able to advise and offer the best value investment. We guarantee that if the room is supposed to be a constant 21° it will be.

But over the last few years we have found that our customers satisfaction, in what we did for them, that they would ask for other services, so we introduced a full service and maintenance plan so people could use a local firm they trust to maintain and service their boilers. So now in an emergency they can call knowing who we are, that we are local and that they will get fast and efficient help.

We then built up an electrical business that runs to our exacting standards; this means that we can give a complete bespoke service without having to rely on outside contractors making everyone's lives easier.

One area that we are gaining great recognition for is the installation of Under Floor Heating as this is one of the most efficient ways to heat your home and we have a team of specialist installers doing this daily, it means you have consistent temperatures and no radiators and therefore the space and freedom to have your furniture along any wall.

But the most exciting part of the business for me at the moment is its bespoke installations and the use of various "green" renewable energy sources such as Solar hot water, Ground and Air source heat pumps. Soon the government intend bringing in a new grant scheme for people who have renewable energy installed to try and reduce our carbon footprint if the equipment is installed by a certified MCS installer. This means you could claim back £1,000 a year for 23 years if you have a ground source heat pump installation or £300 a year for a Solar hot water system, that's like getting the government to pay your heating bills.
